Taylor Marshall, a former Episcopal priest and now a Catholic, has written several wonderful books, chief among them
The Crucified Rabbi: Judaism and the Origins of Catholic Christianity. He has just written another, soon to be published, which focuses on the the question of why Rome and not Jerusalem is the center of the Catholic Church.
This morning I came across a video of a recent interview with Dr. Marshall in which he addresses this very subject. Although it's almost an hour long, it's well worth listening to. I have included it below...
Dr. Marshall's blog,
Canterbury Tales, is also worth a frequent check.
